General Studio Guidelines
I’m New! How early should i arrive to the studio?

We’re so excited to Play with you! Please arrive to the studio 15 minutes prior to the start of practice to ensure you can be greeted, offered a studio orientation, and be introduced to your Teacher.
Do I need to pre-book my practice?

Practices are offered on a first-come, first-serve basis — pre-booking practice is highly encouraged.
I’m running late. Can I still show up?

In order to protect our clients and their experience, our front door automatically locks one minute after the start of practice. Please ensure you arrive with ample time to find parking and enter the studio.
What do I need
to bring?

Please wear comfortable, athletic clothing and bring your water bottle. All auxiliary equipment is provided for you prior to the start of practice at no extra cost.
Are cell phones allowed in practice?

Where do I park?

There is plenty of parking available within one block of the studio! The Morgan Rigsbee Parking Garage is directly in front of the studio and offers complimentary parking for your first hour! Up the block is the 100 Orange Street Garage. Additionally. there is limited street parking available on both Rigsbee Avenue and Morgan Street.

Playground is dedicated to experiencing the power of the present moment. Our practice spaces are phone-free environments.
Memberships + credit Packages
How do i manage my membership?

All of our recurring memberships come with a three-month minimum commitment turn, before moving to month-to-month. After those initial three months, memberships can be managed in-app using the Click to Cancel feature. Upgrades can be handled with the Concierge team.
do unused membership credits roll over?

Unused membership credits do not roll over.
Do credit packages expire?

All credit packages expire six months from the date of purchase. Expired credits are non-refundable.
Can i bring a friend to practice?

Unlimited memberships each have one guest pass per month that can be used on a friend! Limited memberships and credit packages can use one of their credits to book on someone else’s behalf.
Waitlists
What is your waitlist policy?

Our waitlist automatically adds clients into open practice spots until two hours before practice begins. If a spot becomes available within those two hours, all clients on the waitlist will receive a text message alerting them of the last-minute opening, which will be offered on a first-come, first-serve basis.
What if I don’t make it off of the waitlist?

If you don’t make it off of the waitlist prior to practice beginning, no penalty fee will be incurred and you will receive your credit back to your account immediately.
what is your standby policy?

We highly recommend pre-booking for practices. Our doors automatically lock one minute after the start of practice. If a spot is left vacant at that time, we offer it to any standby clients on a first-come, first-serve basis. Standby reservations are not offered to first-time clients.

Late cancellation + No-Shows
What is your cancellation policy?

Any cancellation made within 12 hours of the start of practice is considered a Late Cancellation and will incur a $15 penalty fee. At Playground, we believe in the value of our offerings and do not keep your credit as well.
What is your No-Show policy?

If you do not show-up for your reservation, you will incur a $20 penalty fee. At Playground, we believe in the value of our offerings and do not keep your credit as well.
Do you offer grace cancellations?

Because we do not charge a penalty fee and keep your credit, no grace cancellations are offered. Playground does not offer refunds on penalty fees.
Personal Training
How long are personal training sessions?

Personal Training sessions are 60 minutes.
do you offer duets?

Playground offers Private and Duet Reformer practices. Both clients will need to purchase a Personal Training credit package and schedule through our Concierge.
how do i schedule personal training sessions?

do i get to request my teacher?

Personal Training sessions are offered around the individual availability of each Teacher. You are free to request your desired Teacher, but may be offered someone else if your desired timeslot does not match the requested Teacher’s availability.
